A cuppa with little G & Jacqui Rose Xx

It’s always a pretty magic thing when a new tiny human enters the world … and it’s even better when that human’s Mama is someone you adore, AND, the baby is a sure-fired redhead in the making. Yay for the Gingers and lovely Mums who come to town and give us somebody extra to love.

So this teensy-weensy blog is from a kids’ mini-session I did for Stu and Brooke Southwell a couple of weeks back.

While it was ‘supposed’ to be just about miss Jacqui Rose (the new addition) - I couldn’t stop laughing at the antics of G (Georgi) in the background. As is the case, she’s sussing out this new kid on the block, and ensuring her cuteness isn’t overlooked.

Seriously - it was very funny. So, I couldn’t help but swing around and snap G as she poked her cherubby cheeks into the frame here and there. And, along with that came handsome Stu and his lovely jawline. So many attractive people in the Southwell family.

But what I love about these guys is their hearts.

Congrats, Stu & Brooke, on the addition of your second princess into life. And on your new family home.

What a precious and wild few years it’s going to be. Cannot wait to watch these girls grow and learn in such a beautiful environment.

Much love

Shan XXX

PS: if you’re new to my blogs, yes, I ADORE working with babies (and pets!). Heck yes. (The only thing I will never do, is pose kids beyond the bare minimum. No reindeer horns and artfully arranged blankets in cribs. It’s life as it’s happening. Documentary style / story-telling / fly-on-the-wall is what the cool kids call it. I just call it real life. And I love it so much. And I love that my clients get it and leave me to do this. What a lucky gal I am :)
